Oxford man arrested for allegedly tricking minor into sending photos – The Oxford Eagle

An Oxford man has been arrested for allegedly tricking a minor into sending sexually explicit photographs.

According to reports, on June 11, OPD was notified by a department in another state that an individual had contacted a minor through social media and sent him sexually explicit videos and images.

Investigators identified 25-year-old Trevyon Terez Thomas of Oxford as the suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest the following day.

On August 2, Thomas turned himself in to the OPD. He was accused of luring a child into a graphic sexual act.

He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center, where he was booked and subsequently released on bail.

Homeland Security Investigations and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department assisted in this case.
