Big Island Police are again asking the public if they have seen any of the following three runaways, each of whom has been missing for at least a month:

  • 17 years old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo was last seen on Kino’ole Street in Hilo on March 14. She is 5’2″ tall, has brown eyes and dyed red hair. She is known to frequent downtown Hilo.
  • 17 years old Mary Costner was last seen on foot near Maku’u Drive and 8th Avenue in Pāhoa on May 20. She is 5’2″ tall, weighs 175 pounds, has long dark brown hair and brown eyes.
  • 15-year-old Chael Aku was last seen on May 21 in the 2300 block of Ainakahele Street in Hilo. He is 5’6″ tall, weighs 130 pounds, has dark curly hair and light green eyes.
