Famous Buffalo Bills fan receives surprise gift from his team on TV

Chad Michael Murray is a Buffalo native and, as such, is a proud member of Bills Mafia.

The 42-year-old actor, who rose to prominence playing Lucas Scott on the WB/CW teen drama series One Tree Hill, is a longtime Bills fan and longtime season ticket holder.

Murray appeared on the Today Show Tuesday morning to promote a new project, but the show’s hosts and producers couldn’t resist the chance to bring up his Buffalo fandom.

Here is what happened :

According to the show’s hosts, the team was responsible for presenting Murray with this gift. Of course, The Today Show producers probably contacted the team before their appearance on the show to arrange some sort of surprise, and that’s what the team chose to do.

Regardless of how it happened, it was an extremely cool moment for this lifelong Bills fan.
