Investigation underway after man shot in leg in Over-the-Rhine Wednesday morning

Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning in Over-the-Rhine. Officers say a man was shot in the leg. WLWT’s cameras showed a man being taken into an ambulance around 6 a.m. Police believe the shooting occurred at Clifton Ave. and Lang St. Police have blocked off Walnut St. toward Liberty. As of 6:30 a.m., the street was still blocked off and officers were on the scene. This story is ongoing and will be updated as we learn more.

Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning in Over-the-Rhine.

Officials believe a man was shot in the leg.

WLWT cameras saw a man being taken to an ambulance around 6 a.m.

Police believe the shooting occurred at the corner of Clifton Avenue and Lang Street. Police have cordoned off Walnut Street at the corner of Liberty.

At 6:30 a.m. the road was still closed and officers were on site.
