Harvard has threatened to suspend students who continue to attend pro-Palestinian camps

Sky News presenter Sharri Markson says Harvard’s interim president Alan Garber has “threatened to suspend” students who continue to occupy the court in the pro-Palestinian camp.

Ms Markson said protests were “still occurring” on campuses in the United States and Australia.

“Staff at La Trobe University have been told not to take action against protesters if they disrupt classes and to give them the opportunity to pass on the information they want,” she said.

“It’s extraordinary to have to sit through this whole thing for five minutes in class.

“Israelis are intimidated by Palestinian protesters at Monash University in Victoria.”
