Man dead after early morning car accident

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man died after a car crash in the Medical District early Sunday morning, police said.

At 2:26 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian accident in the area of Union Avenue and Pauline Street.

Officers located a male victim who was transported to Regional One headquarters where he was pronounced dead.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
