Natona Emorett Pope Hamilton May 6, 1954 ~ June 11, 2006 ATLANTA, GA – Natona Emorett Pope Hamilton, age 52, died June 11, 2006 in College Park, Georgia. Natona was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on May 6, 1954. Natona grew up in Seaside, California and recently moved to Georgia. Natona was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Seaside and most recently was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Natona was a graduate of Santa Catalina School in Monterey and attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. She retired from Pacific Bell in 1989 and was an independent contractor. She was the beloved mother of Shayla Hamilton and Mauri Hamilton. Beloved daughter of Rejaunia E. Pope and the late Emmett L. Pope. She is survived by her sisters; Christine Dunn (John), Margarette Foster (William) and Regina Williams (Ronnie). She leaves her nieces and nephews, Taylen and Mason Foster and Gabriella and Taylor Williams. Viewing will be held at Seaside Funeral Home on Sunday, June 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Monday. , on June 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside. Arrangements are under the direction of Seaside Funeral Home.
