5 dream scenarios for the Bills to make 2024 the best season in franchise history

There is no bigger kryptonite for the Bills than the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs. Three of Buffalo’s last four playoff losses have come against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

First, it was the AFC Championship Game where the Bills shocked the league by advancing in the first place. Then the following season, the infamous 13 seconds occurred in which the Bills locked up victory, but had an ultimate collapse that allowed the Chiefs to force overtime, then win it in overtime without allowing Allen to touch the ball.

Last season, the Bills had an extremely inconsistent game against the Chiefs in front of Bills Mafia and Tyler Bass missed the opportunity to potentially send the game to overtime.

As for Houston, they are on the rise with CJ Stroud leading the way. They have quickly become one of the best young teams and they now have Stefon Diggs who was traded by Buffalo this past offseason. Imagine a playoff series for the Bills where they not only eliminate their former number one pick, but also overcome the obstacle of finally defeating Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs…

This should have been the obvious number one dream scenario. It doesn’t matter who he’s against or how the Bills did it, but if Josh Allen gave Buffalo its first Super Bowl and won the MVP award, he would become even more beloved than he already is now.

Allen has the talent and potential to not only take the Bills to the Super Bowl, but also come away with a victory. He’s the best quarterback the Bills have had in a very long time and he’s in the middle of his prime.

The Bills may look like they’ve taken a step backwards this offseason, but anything is possible as long as Allen plays at an elite level. Sure, he has games that stress you out, but he also has games where he is by far the best player on the field.
