Some heavy thunderstorms are possible this evening

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Monday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the threat of severe storms.

By midday we’ll quickly warm up to over 30 degrees, it’ll feel like over 35 degrees. Our afternoon highs will be between 35 and 35 degrees, about 5 degrees above average.

Most of the day will be dry and pleasant for outdoor activities, but thunderstorms will move in during the evening and night. These storms can bring damaging wind gusts and hail.

Most of the rain will move away overnight, with lows on Tuesday morning just above 25 degrees. Afternoon highs will be just above 35 degrees, followed by a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms into the evening.

It will be drier on Wednesday, with lows in the morning again at 18 to 20 degrees, followed by highs of around 35 degrees. It will be a little cooler on Thursday afternoon, with highs of around 28 degrees.

Friday through to the weekend looks to be mostly dry, with a few isolated showers. We’ll also see highs of between 30 and 35 degrees, so not as hot as last weekend!
