Atlanta Braves News: D’Arnaud injured, offense remains calm, more

Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d’Arnaud suffered what could have turned into a scary injury during Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres. In the fifth inning, d’Arnaud pulled a foul ball off his mask, leading to his early exit.

Another concussion was the main concern for d’Arnaud, who has suffered four already. Fortunately, the likelihood of a concussion is slim and he was just diagnosed with a head contusion. He will be evaluated again tomorrow.

With Sean Murphy still out of the lineup (but set to begin his rehab soon), the Braves desperately need some good news regarding d’Arnaud’s injury.
