Must-Have PlayStation Plus Games for October 2024

PlayStation has announced the games that will be released in October 2024 for all PS Plus members.

Three games are coming to the Essential tier of PS Plus October 1and these include a popular horror remake and a visual novel that has become a cult classic.

Below are the games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in October…

EA’s acclaimed horror remake finds its way to PlayStation Plus.

Dead space follows Isaac as he investigates the USS Ishimura and must fight for survival against mutated creatures called Necromorphs. The remake modernizes the experience of the 2008 original while retaining its spirit and was very popular with fans and critics.

“Beyond the aesthetic changes, EA Motive has redesigned the entire narrative experience of Dead space and the individual characters were given much more context,” we said in our review at the time.

This year’s WWE game will be added for all PS Plus members.

WWE2K24 features an extensive roster that includes Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes and John Cena, among others, and features a number of gameplay improvements over last year’s product.

The last game in the October 2024 batch is Doki Doki Literature Cluba graphic novel that has gained a huge cult following over the years.

The game centers on characters who belong to a literature club at a school. It starts as a dating simulator but subverts all expectations and becomes a psychological horror.

It’s difficult to say more without giving away the story, but this is a good time to check out the game if you haven’t already.
