Buffalo police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday morning

A 22-year-old Amherst man arrived with a gunshot wound around 2 a.m. at Erie County Medical Center, a police spokesperson said in a news release.

The man, who was in stable condition, was taken to hospital in a civilian vehicle.

“Detectives are investigating whether the shooting occurred on Niagara Street,” the statement said.
