Willie Nelson’s 4th of July picnic is one of the most iconic July 4th celebrations. Fifty-one years ago, the legendary singer organized his first picnic at the Texas World Speedway in College Station. Dave Dalton Thomas has attended almost every picnic since 1995. Today he will stop by the studio to discuss the history of the picnic, which now takes place in Jersey.

ZaZa Memorial City Hotel has announced the launch of its new Neighborhood evenings initiative. This is a community program that gives back to local nonprofits. This month, they partnered with the Memorial Park Conservancy.
