Teen arrested after attempting to hit student with stolen car at Franklin High School

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A teenager was arrested Thursday after police said he tried to hit students with a stolen vehicle on the campus of Franklin High School in Rochester.

Police were called to the school around 2:30 p.m. Investigators said multiple cars were involved and students had to run out of the way to avoid being hit.

Nobody was injured.

Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy and recovered a stolen Hyundai Tuscon. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
