Man stabbed to death in downtown Atlanta, police say

ATLANTA — A man died after being stabbed in downtown Atlanta early Thursday morning, police said.

It happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Ted Turner Drive and Brotherton Street.

Police said they arrived and found a 32-year-old man inside a vehicle who had been stabbed multiple times. He was transported to Grady Hospital, where he later died.

Investigators believe the stabbing stemmed from an argument over money at a nearby gas station.

A suspect is in custody in connection with the incident.
