50 Cent reveals the staggering amount he has spent on legal fees over the years

50 Cent has revealed the shocking amount he has paid to lawyers over the course of his decades-long career.

The rapper and television star, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, celebrated a legal victory last month after a lawsuit claiming his Performance The case, in which the series based its story on facts about the life of a former drug lord, was dismissed by a New York district judge.

“I can’t wait to get rich,” he joked. “On lawyers alone – I’ve spent $24 million on legal fees in my career.”

The rapper explained that when a situation upsets him, he files lawsuits to upset the people he is dealing with for “recreational reasons.”

“If they provoke me, I’ll send the damn lawyers,” he said.

Jackson announced that although he had a general counsel around him, he did not have a manager to handle his business deals because he did not want anyone to share in his success.

“Why do I need you as my manager?” he asked. “I’ve done every deal I could do as a musician 100 damn times.”

“Why should I do this for you? They all want to work for a percentage and you want a percentage from me? You didn’t build this – I built it.”

When Cory “Ghost” Holland filed a lawsuit against Jackson claiming Performance franchise that took his life, the rapper celebrated the victory by mocking the former drug lord on social media.

“The fool thought he was a GHOST,” Jackson said, referring to the main character in Performance played by James St. Patrick, a ruthless drug dealer who wants to leave the world of crime behind and pursue a legal business in his hit Starz show.

“Everything is fucking wrong with these (ninja emojis) man LOL,” he added.
