Bills Odds for 2024 NFL Playoffs (Bookies Still Bullish on Buffalo)

The Buffalo Bills suffered another postseason heartbreak in 2023, then followed that up with a significant roster move this offseason, which included trading their star receiver, Stefon Diggs.

Bills fans shouldn’t lose faith in this team just yet, they still have Josh Allen at quarterback and oddsmakers still rate them as a playoff-bound team.

Let’s take a look at their chances of making the playoffs for the sixth straight season, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Bills’ odds of making the playoffs next season are set at -172. If you translate those odds into implied probability, they have a 63.24% chance of making it back to the playoffs.

While that still leaves them with plenty of room to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2018, there’s still a good chance they’ll get another chance to finally end their Super Bowl drought.

They may have lost Diggs in the offseason, but they gained players like Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Keon Coleman, a receiver from Florida State who they drafted with their first pick at 33rd overall.

The biggest challenge for the Bills is that the AFC East is going to be the toughest in years. Not only will the Miami Dolphins be in contention to win the division again, but the New York Jets are poised to make a run in the AFC. The Jets already have an elite defense and now, with an improved offense and a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the Bills will have their work cut out for them.

Even if they fail to win the division in 2024, the Bills will be in a position to clinch a wild card spot as they enter the final stretch of the season.
