Semi-trailer crashes into house in New Jersey

First responders rushed to the scene of a truck crash that tore apart a home in Carteret, New Jersey, Wednesday afternoon.

The tractor-trailer appeared to break through a fence and crash into a home on Chrome Avenue, near the intersection of Industrial Highway and Middlesex Avenue.

The municipality of Carteret said in a statement that the driver of the semi-trailer had a “medical incident” before the accident.

It was unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident.
