Buffalo Bills players get upset over reporter’s ’embarrassing’ question

Buffalo Bills safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde criticized a reporter Monday after the Bills’ 14-10 loss to the New England Patriots in a windswept home game. (See videos below.)

WIVB-TV’s Jerry Sullivan, noting that the Bills lost to a team that attempted fewer passes (three) than any franchise in more than 40 years, asked both players, “Was that embarrassing?”

An irritated Poyer responded: “What kind of question is that?”

Hyde interjected, “What are you doing, brother?” he scolded. “Persevere.”

“We will remember this,” Hyde continued. “I’ll remember it.”

As he walked away, Hyde continued to rant at Sullivan.

“It’s all about respect,” he said. “I come here every week and answer your questions honestly and honestly. I appreciate you guys. Do not do that.

The Bills gave up 222 yards on the ground, although it was no secret that New England ran the ball most of the time, For the Win noted.

In a subsequent tweet, Sullivan criticized Hyde’s reaction.
