KTTC to host Harlem Globetrotters

ATLANTA, Ga. (KTTC) — The Harlem Globetrotters and Gray Media (NYSE: GTN) proudly announce that they will broadcast a live Harlem Globetrotters game from their historic sports home at American Dream in New Jersey on August 18, 2024. The event will begin at 6 p.m. CST/7 p.m. EST on more than 90 Gray-owned local television stations, including KTTC (CW) Channel 10.2.

“Our historic home continues to attract partners who want to help amplify this moment,” said Keith Dawkins, President of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios. “It’s been over 40 years since audiences last saw the Globetrotters LIVE on television, and we’re grateful to Gray Media for helping us revitalize our brand for a whole new generation.”

The broadcast will be produced by Gray’s Raycom Sports, a national leader in sports production and syndication with deep roots in college basketball, football and professional sports. On-air talent for the broadcast will be announced shortly.

Raycom Sports currently syndicates ACC football and basketball games year-round on CW affiliates nationally and is the broadcast partner of the PWHL, a first-of-its-kind women’s hockey league that debuted in 2024.

Peachtree TV has been serving the Atlanta market since 1967, making it one of the longest-running stations in the area. Peachtree Sports Network launched in October 2023 and focuses on live local sports programming throughout the year.
