KPRC 2 Meteorologist Justin Stapleton says Thursday will start off with a storm as we also track a cold front that is moving through the storm. This will bring heavy rain to our northwestern counties in the morning.

The storms will move further into southeast Texas and are expected to enter Harris County around 7 a.m., bringing wet and messy commutes for drivers in the Houston area.
