Man found dead after collision with tree in rural New York Mills – Perham Focus

NEW YORK MILLS — A man died Saturday, June 22, when his vehicle struck a tree in rural New York Mills, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday around 2:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report that a vehicle had crashed into a tree. A male driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was found dead at the scene.

According to the press release, drugs and/or alcohol are not considered to be the cause of the accident.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Perham Police Department, Perham Fire Department, Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Perham EMS and the Minnesota State Patrol.
