Pennsylvania man sentenced to prison for sexual exploitation of child

(WGGB/WSHM) – A Pennsylvania man was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child in federal court in Springfield earlier this week.

On various dates between September 2021 and December 2021, 46-year-old David Tweed sexually exploited a 12- to 13-year-old girl he met online.

During this time, Tweed repeatedly persuaded the victim to send sexual images and videos of herself and to perform indecent acts during video calls.

On more than one occasion, Tweed drove from Pennsylvania to locations in New England where he met and sexually abused victims.

Tweed faces a 30-year prison sentence and life probation.
