Owatonna family attorney comments on investigation into fatal accident – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – After a tragic car crash that killed Owatonna teenager Olivia Flores in May, her family has now hired an attorney to investigate the accident.

The Flores family is awaiting news from Rochester police about the accident that killed their daughter, but says they have not yet received any information about the official investigation and have taken matters into their own hands.

The private investigation is still in its early stages and attorneys continue to hope to cooperate with the RPD in investigating the case.

“Especially in any tragic case, there are a lot of rumors going around, a lot of things being passed around and they just want to deal with the facts and what really happened to their daughter,” said attorney Dan McIntosh.

In response to the ongoing investigation, Rochester Police issued a statement saying:

“The fatal accident investigation process is extensive and can take a lot of time and resources. We understand that we need facts about this accident and we are committed to finding them. We expect to complete our investigation by the end of the month. We again extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Olivia Flores.”
