Investigations underway after two bodies found in southwest Missouri

REDINGS MILL, Missouri – Authorities are investigating a possible murder-suicide in southwest Missouri.

Shortly after 11:15 p.m. Saturday evening, Newton County officials responded to a report of shots fired at 206 Clark Road in Redings Mill.

The Newton County Coroner tells us two people were found dead on the property – a 62-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman, both with gunshot wounds.

Authorities are working to notify family members and the investigation is ongoing.
