The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah carried out 11 operations against Israeli occupation forces and sites on Thursday, reaffirming the party’s support for the Palestinian people and its intention to defend Lebanese sovereignty against Israeli aggression.

Resistance fighters responded to an Israeli attack on Kfar Dajjal that took place on Thursday morning, targeting a vehicle in the southern Lebanese town. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of Hezbollah fighter Mohammad Ali Nasser Faran, “Nasser.” The attack also endangered civilians, including children on their way to school, and injured several.

In this context, Hezbollah fighters carried out their first operation, targeting the headquarters of the 91st Israeli Division, which commands the northern front.

Hezbollah fighters fired a large salvo of Grad rocket artillery at a recently established headquarters of the 91st Division in the Ayelet base.

As a continuation of the resistance’s response to the vicious Israeli attack, resistance fighters also launched another attack on the headquarters of an infantry battalion of the 769th Territorial Brigade “Hiram”. The brigade is responsible for ground operations in the eastern part of the area in and around the Palestinian-Lebanese border and includes three infantry battalions.

In the attack, Hezbollah fighters fired dozens of Grad and Falaq rockets at the headquarters in the Israeli base of Beit Hillel.

After the resistance movement fired volleys at the battalion’s headquarters, Hezbollah’s unmanned air force launched an attack on another site in nearby Kiryat Shmona.

This time, Hezbollah’s suicide drones targeted the headquarters of the 769th Territorial Brigade at the Kiryat Shmona base. The base, also called Camp Gibor, is Hiram’s administrative headquarters, as opposed to the base in Beit Hillel, where the brigade’s main logistics site is located.

In this context, suicide drones targeted an office block housing Israeli military officers, while another group of drones struck a building used by the brigade’s communications team.

The Islamic Resistance’s operations continued late into Thursday night, as fighters attacked a number of Israeli targets, including troops and an Israeli Merkava tank, which was destroyed.

  • At 12:30 p.m. (local time), Hezbollah fighters attacked the Israeli site in Metulla and destroyed key spy software installed there.
  • At 2:30 p.m., another attack on Israeli spyware took place, with Hezbollah fighters destroying Israeli equipment installed at the al-Raheb military compound.
  • At 16:55, Hezbollah artillery units shelled the al-Marj military base.
  • At the same time, resistance fighters fired an anti-tank missile at an Israeli military tank near Shtula. The anti-tank units succeeded in the elaborately planned ambush, destroying the tank and killing and injuring its crew members. The tank was located opposite Aita al-Shaab, a town in southern Lebanon, and was actively shelling nearby areas.
  • At 19:20, Hezbollah fighters attacked the Zibdine military base in Lebanon’s occupied Shebaa Farms, hitting the intended targets directly.
  • In response to Israeli attacks on Lebanese cities, the resistance launched two separate attacks on buildings in occupied territories that troops had requisitioned for military purposes. In the first attack, resistance fighters fired unspecified weapons at three buildings in Even Menahem, hitting all three buildings directly.
  • In the second attack, the resistance launched another attack on a building in Metulla, using “appropriate weapons.”
  • Finally, resistance fighters attacked a group of Israeli occupation soldiers stationed opposite the Lebanese city of Yaroun.

Thursday’s attacks, particularly the response to the killing of the martyr Nasser and the endangerment of schoolchildren, demonstrate Hezbollah’s versatile military capabilities and the group’s ability to target Israeli targets with an arsenal of weapons.

The operations underscore the resistance’s ability to achieve planned objectives while responding forcefully to significant Israeli violations. Specifically, Thursday’s operations continued to see the resistance dismantle Israeli military hardware and equipment, a plan that has facilitated ground force operations. In addition, while keeping its strategic weapons arsenal secret, the resistance shelled a strategic Israeli logistics base and hit a key command and control center.
