Atlanta Falcons kicker Koo holds inaugural kicking camp in native Ridgewood

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo held his inaugural kicking camp in hometown of Ridgewood on Monday.

The event, taking place at Ridgewood High School, gave kickers and punters from fifth grade through high school the chance to learn from their hometown hero.

All proceeds will benefit the Ridgewood football program.

“It’s really cool to do something affiliated with Ridgewood because the community here is great, and I don’t think I would have been able to accomplish what I did this year without having the people around me here to push me along the way,” said Koo.

Koo was named to the Pro Bowl in 2020 after leading the NFL in scoring that year. He is the fourth all-time leader in field goal percentage.
