St. Louis CITY SC will play their second home match of the week against Eastern Conference opponent Atlanta United FC at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. St. Louis comes into the game coming off a 3-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday. In the match, striker Brendan McSorley made his MLS debut after coming on as a substitute in the 82nd minute. Veteran defenseman Jake Nerwinski also made his 150th start in the game.

Entering the weekend, St. Louis sits 12th in the Western Conference standings, but is just six points out of a playoff spot currently held by Austin FC with 24 points. CITY SC will look to get back to winning ways at CITYPARK where they have a record of 14-7-6 and have recorded 51 goals and 41 assists.

Against Eastern Conference teams this season, CITY SC is 2-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 at home, with wins over New York City FC and Chicago Fire FC. St. Louis scored seven times in those three matches, including a team-leading three goals scored by forward João Klauss.

The contest will mark the first ever meeting between CITY SC and Atlanta United. Atlanta enters the competition 5-8-5 this season, most recently winning 1-0 against DC United in their clash earlier this week. They have a 2-3-3 away record this season and are undefeated in their last three away matches.
