SACRAMENTO, CA (June 5, 2024) – Two people were injured in a bus accident on Power Inn Road on Tuesday morning.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the incident occurred on June 4 at approximately 8:32 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a bus and a vehicle loaded with rat poison collided near the intersection of Power Inn Road and 38th Avenue.

Rescue workers treated two injured people. According to reports, the victims did not have to be taken to hospital.

The force of the impact is said to have caused rat poison to get onto the road. A hazardous materials crew arrived later to carry out clean-up work.
