Country music festival coming to Buffalo, New York

Summer concert season has officially arrived in Western New York and beyond. Virtually every week and weekend through the beginning of September, great artists perform at the biggest venues in Toronto, Buffalo and Rochester. This is officially one of the biggest and busiest concert seasons ever in the Niagara region, and it’s sure to be a lot of fun.

In particular, many major country music concerts take place in the area. This includes festivals. For country music fans, this festival in Buffalo will be one not to be missed.

A country festival is coming to Buffalo, New York

Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Chris Janson, Chayce Beckham, Shaboozey and Voyagr will all be part of the annual Buffalo Taste of Country festival. It will take place on Friday, June 21 at Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo. The show is presented by 106.5 WYRK and Toyota and has become a must-see event every summer for over 20 years. Country fans from all over Western New York, Ontario, Canada and across the United States will come for this big party. They hang out all day in the fields surrounding the baseball stadium and party all night!

Programming

CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year: Old Dominion headlines the packed show. Joining them will be Grand Ole Opry member Jon Pardi, singer-songwriter Chris Janson, American Idol winner Chayce Beckham and TikTok sensation Shaboozey. There’s also a local addition to the festival with Buffalo country band Voyagr, who won a competition called “Taste of Country Risers” to earn the right to open the show.

That’s not all either. This year, a DJ will spin the music before the show and between each act to keep the party going. You can expect a stunning rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” with a fly-by. Plus, Taste of Country is truly a who’s who of Western New York with all kinds of celebrities, athletes and public figures coming to the show. You never know who you will see.
