May 28, 2024 Texas Primary Election Results

HOUSTON – Texas voters cast their ballots in the 2024 primary runoff elections on May 28 to select candidates for a series of important offices, including the U.S. Senate, positions in Congress and legislatures, and various seats judicial.

In this primary runoff election, voters determined the candidates who will represent the Democratic and Republican parties in the November general election. The candidate receiving the majority of votes in a particular race will become the party’s nominee for that position.

A primary runoff election is held to determine a winner when no candidate in the primary election has reached the victory threshold.

Polling stations open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on election day.
