Singer Zubeen Gargwho has a huge fan base in the North Eastern regions, has expressed his disappointment over the suspension of a woman police officer for kissing embrace him. During one of Garg’s recent performances, a policewoman walked onto the stage and collapsed. She hugged and kissed the performer, but came later exposed for the same behavior.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Zubeen Garg condemned the policewoman’s suspension. He expressed his support for police officers and said everyone has the right to express their feelings.

The 51-year-old singer has released several solo albums. These include “Chanda”, “Sparsh” and “Chandni Raat” among others. As a music composer, he has also contributed to several films in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and other languages. In Assam, he is also known for singing Bihu songs.
