TRAFFIC ALERT: Work Begins on Walker County’s 2024 Paving List | Local News

Walker County officials say crews have begun working on the list of roads to be paved in 2024.

Work began on Greenhill Drive in the Mountain View neighborhood on Tuesday.

As crews have been sweeping streets in the area, residents are asked not to blow leaves or grass onto the street.

Residents are also asked not to park vehicles on the street.

The road work comes after residents voted in November 2023 to reinstate the one percent Special Location Option Sales Tax for Transportation Projects (T-SPLOST).
