The Atlanta office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, established in 1988, combines the advantages of an international platform with the accessibility of a local firm. Our attorneys advise clients on a range of issues relevant to large companies operating in the Southeastern United States and around the world.

The attorneys in our Atlanta office are well positioned to serve the firm’s domestic and international clients. We provide a full range of legal services, from our leading commercial lending practice to our award-winning litigation services, including financial services litigation, class action defense, liability litigation product disputes, real estate disputes, insurance recovery, environmental disputes, labor and employment. and complex commercial disputes. Additionally, the Atlanta office has extensive capabilities in municipal finance and tax-exempt bond transactions, privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. These capabilities are complemented by our industry knowledge of financial services, retail and consumer products, energy, real estate, chemical production, manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare and life sciences.

At Hunton Andrews Kurth, we believe that the practice of law is a service to society. That’s why we are committed to providing pro bono legal services to those in our communities who cannot afford the services of an attorney. In 1995, the firm opened a neighborhood office in southeast Atlanta, the Southside Legal Center, which serves low-income residents by advising and representing them in the areas of adoption, business, family relationships, landlord/tenant relationships and real estate. In keeping with changing times and so as not to limit its geographic reach, the Southside Legal Center was converted to a virtual office in October 2015 and continues to serve the communities of Atlanta. In fact, in October 2016, we celebrated the 21st anniversary of the Southside Legal Center. Our attorneys also provide pro bono legal services to nonprofit organizations in the Atlanta area. For the ninth consecutive year, 100 percent of the Atlanta office’s attorneys worked pro bono to represent indigent individuals and nonprofit organizations.

Our attorneys and staff are also involved in many Atlanta area projects, including the Grandparent/Relative Caregiver Project of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc.; the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation Saturday Lawyer Project; Food Drives and Crossroads Ministries of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Take I-75 or I-85 South to Exit 249D, North Avenue. Turn left onto North Avenue. Bank of America Plaza is on the right after crossing West Peachtree Street. The entrance to the car park is immediately on the right.
