Woman hit by truck and killed in Pensacola on Sunday evening: FHP

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) – A woman died Sunday after being hit by a vehicle in Pensacola, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 21-year-old was struck by a white Ford pickup truck driven by an 82-year-old man around 11:45 p.m. on State Road 297 and the Interstate Circle, the FHP press release said.

The man was driving south on State Road 297. The news release states that the woman crossed the lane and entered the path of the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was not injured. This story will be continually updated.
