Hector Castillo Garcia is killed in a truck accident in Dallas

Initial reports from authorities indicate the accident occurred at the intersection of Dowdy Ferry Road and the I-20/LBJ Freeway.

According to initial investigations, it is a 56-year-old Hector Castillo García was traveling south on Dowdy Ferry Road in a Ford Expedition. As he crossed the access road, an 18-wheeler was traveling north allegedly When he tried to turn left to get onto the west driveway, he couldn’t yield. There was a collision between the two vehicles.

Hector Castillo García died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. There is currently no indication of any pending charges or citations.
