Atlanta Braves News: Austin Riley update, series win vs. Cubs, more

The Atlanta Braves received another positive update from third baseman Austin Riley, who left Sunday’s game with soreness in his side. An MRI revealed there was just mild inflammation and a transfer to the injured list would not be necessary.

David O’Brien of The Athletic reported that Riley told manager Brian Snitker he was feeling much better on Tuesday.

After this news, it’s still likely that Riley returns to the lineup this week.
