St. Lawrence County Woman Arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child |  WWTI

GOVERNOR, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 35-year-old St. Lawrence County woman is charged with a complaint of endangering the welfare of a child following an arrest on Saturday, May 12.

On Thursday, May 10, at approximately 3:00 p.m., New York State Troopers responded to 1st Street in the town of Governor for a report of endangering the welfare of a child. An investigation revealed that Brooke Horne provided drug paraphernalia to a child by handing the child a vape pen containing substances.


Horne was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal sale of cannabis and endangering the welfare of a child.

She was arrested and taken to State Police Headquarters in Governor for further processing. Horne was arraigned in Russell Town Court, where she was released on her own recognizance.
