Emily’s 6th First Alert Prediction

OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) – Friday will be on the warm side, with temperatures in the 30s and 35s despite a breeze from the northwest. It will stay warm through the night, but a gradual cooldown is expected.

The northwest wind is also bringing smoke from the forest fires in Canada. Air quality has deteriorated to moderate for our Friday, but air quality is expected to improve somewhat over the weekend.

You’ll likely notice some smoke in the air this weekend, but it won’t be as thick and air quality should slowly improve.

The weekend forecast is pleasant with temperatures just below the seasonal highs of under 27 degrees. Isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out on both afternoons, which will probably be mainly located southwest of the metropolis.

We expect rain again and a further drop in temperature in the middle of next working week.
