A Columbia Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant has closed in this busy neighborhood

The final buzzer sounded at a location of a national chain of sports bars in Colombia.

Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 10056 Two Notch Road in Northeast Columbia, recently closed its doors. It’s near the NorthPointe Commons shopping center and a number of other businesses, including a Walmart Supercenter and a Publix grocery store. About 35,000 cars a day use this stretch of Two Notch, according to state traffic count data.

Word began circulating about Two Notch Buffalo Wild Wings’ closure late last week on the popular Facebook food group Columbia Eats. When a reporter from The State visited the restaurant at noon Monday, it was closed and dark, and the company’s logos, signage and awnings had been removed from the building. A lone sign sat inside the front gate atrium, promoting last month’s NFL Draft.

Buffalo Wild Wings has more than 1,200 locations across the United States. Several locations are still operating in the Midlands, including on Harbison Boulevard and Devine Street in Columbia, as well as Sunset Boulevard in Lexington. The sports bar chain has long been known, of course, for its Buffalo-style chicken wings, as well as its burgers, cold beer and more.
