Woman shot in front of Fresno Hotel – investigation necessary

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An investigation is ongoing after a woman was shot in downtown Fresno Tuesday night, Fresno police said.

Officers said they were called to a local hospital after a gunshot victim arrived at 9:45 p.m. Officers also received a call regarding a gunshot victim in the area of ​​the Hotel Fresno near Broadway and H Street. Both calls were later determined to be related.

According to police, a woman in her 30s may have been shot in front of the Fresno Hotel. No information on the extent of her injuries was available as of Tuesday evening.

According to officials, she is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. The suspect is said to be staying at the Fresno Hotel.
