According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, two people were killed in a traffic accident in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 240 near South Western Avenue.

The authorities have restricted traffic to two lanes.
