Additional storms are likely Thursday evening and overnight

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Thursday is a 6th Weather Warning Day as stronger to severe storms are possible during the evening and overnight hours.

After 6 p.m. on Thursday, there is a risk of further isolated storms developing, which could bring a major threat of hail. After 10 p.m., a more organized line is forecast to move southeast through the area. Above all, this would bring with it a risk of strong winds.

Fortunately, the risk of flash flooding is low as the storms are expected to move fairly quickly this round. However, the greatest risk of severe weather this round is on the Nebraska side.

Overall, this is another round of strong to severe storms that will bring more potential for damage and bring more rain to the sodden ground.
