Camera crew finds woman shot to death at northwest Atlanta bus stop, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police say a production crew stumbled upon a horrifying discovery Thursday morning in northwest Atlanta.

The Atlanta Police Department said the body of an unidentified woman with multiple gunshot wounds was found at Collier and Harwell roads under an I-285 overpass around 5:30 a.m. They say a production crew saw the body and flagged down an officer.

Investigators say an “altercation at a bus stop led to his death.”

No suspect description has been provided at this time. Investigators remain on scene, canvassing the area and searching for witnesses.
