61-year-old motorcyclist killed in accident in Wagoner County

WAGON COUNTY, Oklahoma. –

A motorcyclist from Mounds was killed in a traffic accident in Wagoner County on Saturday, authorities said.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 61-year-old James David Spring was killed in a collision with another vehicle on OK-16 at E. 100th St N.

According to OHP, the accident occurred around 1:40 p.m. Spring died about an hour later on the way to the hospital.

There were five people in the other vehicle, including the driver. None of them were injured, OHP reports.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
