Fatal Houston shooting prompts search for suspects, persons of interest | Texas

Houston, TX — The Houston Police Department has released surveillance footage showing a suspect and persons of interest in connection with a fatal shooting in the city earlier this month. The incident took place at an apartment complex on Dunlap Street on February 13, 2023, around 1:20 p.m.

The victim, identified as Matthew Francis, 22, was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The surveillance video, attached to the police press release, showed the suspect and others currently being sought for questioning.
