Zach Bryan and his girlfriend were in a “traumatizing” car accident

Country singer Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Barstool Sports personality Brianna LaPaglia, were involved in a “side by side” car accident last weekend, she said on social media.

LaPaglia, also known as Brianna Chickenfry, recalled the “traumatizing” incident on TikTok on Tuesday.

“It rolled over a couple of times, everything broke, and thank God we had our seatbelts on,” LaPaglia said of the accident that occurred two nights earlier. “But there was a lot of blood and we thought we would say goodbye to each other.”

LaPaglia said she felt like she was having a “mental breakdown,” noting that she had been “living on a bus for a month,” which didn’t help matters.

Bryan, who is currently on his Quitting Time tour, had a “huge cut” stitched up after the ambulance arrived.

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Bryan and LaPaglia for comment.

LaPaglia said the couple was “happy and alive” but had to “cover up” the incident because they had to head to their next stop in Arkansas.

As they set off, they opened the bus door and their cat, Mango, ran into a wooded area.

“Zach tries to jump on her, all the stitches are bursting again, he’s bleeding (everywhere), so much blood,” she said, becoming emotional. The couple eventually finds the cat, but gets little sleep after the stressful events of the day.
