How many miles will the Atlanta Falcons run in 2024?

The Atlanta Falcons won’t have the busiest schedule in 2024. Although they face the Super Bowl champion Chiefs, they face a lot of mystery teams – it also helps when you’re playing in the NFC South.

Another good news is that they won’t have to travel very far. They only have to travel across the country twice and will mostly stay on their side of the country.

Since the NFL added an extra game during the regular season, teams alternate between playing an extra game at home or on the road. The Atlanta Falcons will be on the safe side as they will play nine home games and eight away games.

The Falcons will also benefit from playing most of their road games in the Eastern United States. I used Google Maps to find out the total number of miles they would travel.

Note: The distance is between Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Road Stadium in which they will play in a straight line, not by road. The total distance also takes into account the return to Atlanta.

Total miles: 12,280

Shortest: 226 miles to Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium

Farthest: 1,744 miles to Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium

  1. Bank of America Stadium (CAR): 360 km
  2. Raymond James Stadium (TB): 660 km
  3. Caesars Superdome (NO): 424 km
  4. FedEx Field (WAS): 550 miles
  5. Lincoln Financial Field (PHI): 1064 km
  6. US Bank Stadium (MIN): 907 km
  7. Empower Field @ Mile High (DEN): 1,911 km
  8. Allegiant Stadium (LV): 2,744 km

Traveling 12,280 miles isn’t much for an NFL team. For reference, the Falcons traveled approximately 8,400 miles round trip from Wembley Stadium in London to face the Jaguars.

Last year, according to Pro Football Network, the Falcons traveled 18,228 miles. This year will be a little less trying for the players. That certainly beats the Seahawks who had to travel 31,600 miles last season.

The criticism of the Falcons will take years to subside. dark. Following. Falcons criticism won’t subside
