On August 5, 14-year-old student Md Robin was shot in the leg and sustained serious injuries during a peaceful march in Laldighi Zilla Parishad area.

In another separate operation, the RAB yesterday arrested Mohammad Rashed, chairman of Lakshmipur Sadar upazila Jubo League, from Bolirpara area of Chattogram near Doublemooring police station.

He was later handed over to Lakshmipur Sadar Model police station for further prosecution, said a RAB press release issued today.
