Motorcyclist evacuated by helicopter after accident in Miami Gardens – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – A person believed to be involved in a scooter accident was flown by helicopter from an ambulance to a nearby hospital Tuesday morning.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the accident occurred around 6 a.m. on 194th Terrace near Northwest Seventh Avenue in Miami Gardens.

Emergency crews parked in front of the Visitation Church at the corner of 191st Street and North Miami Avenue and coordinated transportation from there to ensure the victim received immediate medical attention.

As a result of this incident, southbound Northwest Seventh Avenue has been closed while police investigate and clear the scene.

The details of the accident remain unclear. While the investigation is ongoing, authorities have been asked for further information.
